Leading food brand Golden Penny, a flagship of Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc, has honoured its loyal dealers and customers at a regional Business-to-Business (B2B) conference held in Lagos, reinforcing its commitment to strengthening partnerships across its distribution network.
The event, which took place on March 31, 2026, brought together key stakeholders from across the region, with 15 outstanding dealers recognized for their performance and dedication in two award categories.

Speaking at the conference, Sales Director John Maniatis expressed deep appreciation to customers for their unwavering loyalty and support over the years. He emphasized that the success of Golden Penny is rooted in the strong relationships it has built with its customers nationwide.
“There is no Golden Penny without our customers. Your continued patronage has sustained the business and driven our growth. We are grateful for your trust and commitment,” he said, while also encouraging participants to enjoy the event and continue strengthening their partnership with the brand.
Also addressing attendees, Regional Sales Manager Solomon Adeyemi commended the dealers for their consistency and resilience, noting that the awards were designed to celebrate excellence and reward loyalty.

“This recognition is for those who have shown outstanding commitment over time. Today, we celebrate not just performance, but dedication and partnership,” Adeyemi stated.
The conference featured a range of engaging and informative activities aimed at empowering participants and enhancing business operations. A key highlight was a tax education session, where experts enlightened dealers on the implementation of the 7.5% Value Added Tax (VAT), including how it affects product pricing and deductions.

In addition, the company introduced the Omnipay digital platform, developed in collaboration with Flour Mills Nigeria, to simplify and streamline payment processes for customers. The platform is expected to improve efficiency, transparency, and ease of transactions within the distribution chain.
The event also offered moments of relaxation and cultural celebration, with a vibrant performance by the Aloyinlapa Cultural Group, whose music and traditional displays captivated guests and added a rich cultural touch to the evening.

An interactive question-and-answer session allowed customers to engage directly with company representatives. Discussions covered key issues such as customer relations, product pricing, and market dynamics, with both Maniatis and Adeyemi providing clarity and reaffirming the company’s commitment to transparency and continuous improvement.
The highlight of the event was the awards presentation, where five top-performing companies in the “Outstanding Customers” category received major prizes.
Felicia Modupeoluwa and Opeyemi Baking Industry were each awarded trucks, while Joy D Joy, Lasol, and Amazing Grace received tricycles to support their logistics and distribution capacity.

In the second category, ten other dealers Iteoluwa, Top Dara, Tolabinjo, Atoyen, Unique Ayos, Newlife, RS Kadupe, Bofik, Aldo Global, and Nasaf Trading Co. were rewarded with tablets to enhance their business operations and digital engagement.
