This woman identified as Ms.Tina is now in Police Detention. She was arrested along with her husband, and they are being detained at Ajah divisional police station, Lagos state. in connection with the death of a baby said to be the child of her employee.
She is accused of seizing her employee’s five-month-old infant after she failed to pay a debt she owed her after assisting her with a hospital bill.
Miss Tina eventually released the child to the mother after a lot of persuasion, but he was in a bad way because he had lost so much weight and looked very unhealthy. It showed a marked difference in the baby’s physiognomy leading to speculation that she deliberately starved him. Sadly, the baby passed away yesterday night.
Sadly the pathetic occurrence was posted by human rights Activist Harrison Gwamishu on his social media handle.
Activist Harrison Gwamnishu, who is fighting for the baby’s mother’s justice, provided an update on the situation. Ms Tina, he claims, has been apprehended and being held in the custody of the Ajah Divisional Police Station.
