Blacktalker Media Network is proud to announce its media partnership with the Communication Students’ Representative Council (CSRC), Lagos State University (LASU), for the launch of the first printed edition of the COSA-LASU Constitution.

The historic unveiling will take place during the 7th edition of the Communication Parliamentary Summit (CPS 7.0) on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at the Hallowed Chamber, Arcade, LASU by 10:00 AM.

Themed “Media’s Impact on Politics in the Digital Age: Opportunities, Challenges and Solutions,” this year’s summit aims to explore the evolving intersection between media and governance in a rapidly digitizing world.

Speaking of the partnership, Adewale Olowoporoku, Team Lead at Blacktalker Media Network, noted that this collaboration reflects the platform’s continued commitment to spotlighting developments in the education sector.

“This partnership is part of our broader mandate to amplify the voices and experiences of students, especially in tertiary institutions like LASU. We aim to highlight their milestones, challenges, and contributions to national development,” he said.

The Communication Parliamentary Summit (CPS) is an annual flagship initiative of the CSRC that brings together communication students, thought leaders, and key stakeholders for panel discussions, keynote lectures, and collaborative engagements on issues central to students, the media, governance, and nation-building.

This year’s edition also marks a milestone achievement as the COSA-LASU Constitution is printed and officially launched for the first time, institutionalizing a key document that will guide student representation and governance within the department.

Hon. Adepoju Ayomide Nafisat, Chairman of CPS 7.0, and Hon. Ofigberi Blessing Oghenwvarhe, Secretary of CPS 7.0, are the principal organizers of the event, operating under the leadership of Rt. Hon. Chidera E. Okafor.
