Bianca Saunder made her debut in Nigeria at the just concluded GTCO fashion weekend 2025 held in Lagos on the 8th and 9th November 2025, with focus on The Business of Creativity: Scaling a fashion Brand Beyond Wholesale.
Launching her brand, Bianca Saunders, a British designer after graduation, entered the industry with an approach that set her apart. While many designers sought spectacle, Saunders embraced nuance.

Her work highlights the intersections of masculinity and softness, structure and movement, tradition and experimentation. Through tailored silhouettes, draped fabrics, and innovative construction techniques, she reimagines what menswear can be not as a rigid uniform, but as a lived, expressive form.
Her Anglo-Caribbean heritage is woven into each collection. Sometimes it appears in the form of nostalgic references to family gatherings other times in prints, textures, or the relaxed ease drawn from Caribbean aesthetics. It is this cultural fusion that gives her clothing its quiet power: every piece tells a story, not loudly, but intentionally.
Aside from fashion, mentorship has really been something that has changed her and also moved her forward, but also being able to offer that younger generation. She has been working with the Kurt Geiger Foundation, and have been mentoring younger person in fashion that wants to start a fashion brand. “I think being able to give back and actually offer that knowledge has been very important. I think even today, with the master class, people got a lot out of it, being able to share my mistakes or like what I’ve learned and how much the industry is really changing so so quickly”
.
Asked how she was able to over come the fear of the venturing into men’swear, Bianca said knowing what you want and lunching fully and with the help of the right team has helped her thus far, she said she will love to explore the Nigerian market and leave a lasting impression as Nigerian are stylish and fashionistas.
Saunders has received major fashion awards, including the ANDAM Grand Prix and the BFC/GQ DesignerFashion Fund, and has showcased collections in both London and Paris. Her work continues to to push boundaries while staying grounded in identity and sustainability
