Coach Tunmise Kuku to Lead UMI Workshop on Conscious Parenting

Published by Borderless MediaNg

Coach Tunmise Kuku will headline a reflective parenting workshop on February 7, 2026, as part of the UMI Mentorship Programme Cohort 6, guiding parents through a conversation on breaking generational patterns and embracing conscious parenting.

Speaking ahead of the session themed “Generational Patterns: From Survival Parenting to Conscious Parenting,” Kuku emphasised that while parenting habits are often inherited, healing and change are possible.

“Parenting didn’t start with us, but healing can,” she noted, explaining that many parents unconsciously carry deposits from their upbringing into how they raise their own children.

The workshop, organised by UMI, an initiative dedicated to supporting mothers, will focus on helping participants identify both the conscious and unconscious influences from their childhood that shape how they show up as parents today. Kuku is expected to lead attendees through a reflective process and share practical tools to help them begin a journey of intentional healing.

According to the organisers, the goal is to help parents create better emotional experiences for their children while maintaining a balance of love and discipline. The event will hold online on the UMI platform, with further details available on the organisation’s website, www.umiformothers.com
