Save me! She yelled,
With tears in her eyes, she beckoned on the son of man, an innocent Homo sapiens born few ago hours into the breaking of the day. She said, you are innocent, you have never known evil, neither have you done evil.
Please, conserve me while you journey on me, the earth, I am beauty-full, and I will show you the unseen beauty of nature
Why tell me? The baby asked,
Mother earth replied, you are innocent, you are an intermediary between the son of man and I, the reason you cried when you came into the world.
Be that agent of change!
The son of man strikes me, the son of man humiliates me, all these the son of man does without paying homage to me.
They wouldn’t listen even when I get infuriated, they’ve been oblivious My anger makes the earth quakes,
At the strike of the trident, the lithosphere quakes, My children are dying,
The fishes are dying, the animals die, the son of man killing my inheritance.
Some of my children that used to be, have gone extinct. The son of man eating my children into extinction. Mother earth cries, save my dying children. Take this message to the son of man as you grow,
Tell the son of man that I need respect, that I need protection, I need to be conserved!
I need shelter. The forest conservations, my clothes, a clean environment is my food, an atmosphere with a regulated greenhouse gas is my fresh breath.
Take message to the world, take it to the son of man! Mother earth cries, save my dying children.
Save the earth, save the atmosphere, save the lithosphere, save the biosphere.
The earth hears!
The earth sees!
The earth listens!
A clean earth is possible!
Mother earth cries, save my dying children.
