OGUN ACCIDENT DEATH TOLL RAISES TO 19 AS SIX INJURED PERSONS DIED IN THE HOSPITAL

Six other persons, who were among those that sustained injuries in a fatal accident along the Lagos-Ibadan highway on Wednesday have died in a hospital in Ogun State.
It was reported on Wednesday that 13 persons died in the accident, while 12 others sustained serious injuries.
A commercial bus was said to have lost control and rammed into a faulty waste disposal truck parked by the road side, killing 13 out of the 25 on board the passenger bus.
Of the 12 persons rescued to the hospital, the Spokesperson to the Ogun State Traffic Compliance Corps (TRACE) said six died on Thursday.
Akinbiyi said, “From our new reports, we discovered that another six people – three males and three females – have died from the accident due to severe injuries from the scene.”
He added that other victims were still receiving treatment at Idera Hospital, Sagamu, Ogun State.
