AWCS launched in Lagos for women empowerment

Asiwaju Women Cooperative Society is an organization birthed to assist women across Nigeria in every area of life ranging from provision of food stuffs, business support and women advocacy.

it was first launched in Abuja on 21st of September 2021 at the TSG office in maitama,to stretch the effectiveness and effort of the organization reaching out to thousands of women, the Lagos chapter had it’s official inauguration at the prestigious Excellence hotel ogba Lagos on the 10th of December 2021, for which purpose is the continuation of good philanthropic gesture of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu who is globally known to be a political juggernaut and also one of the largest donors to humanity in Africa.

The event was graced by dignitaries and women in Politics,

the national president of AWCS chief (Mrs) Toyin Badmus,(iyaloja general of Abuja) during her speech, appreciates every women present at the event for always striving for their homes and the nation at large, also for turning out in large numbers to embrace the inauguration of AWCS in Lagos. She used the occasion of the event to also thank and appreciate Chief Mrs Kemi Nelson (Yeyesewa of Lagos) and Hon James Abiodun Faleke for their support and contributions in the formation of the cooperative society and success recorded so far.

The event was also grace by heads of other state chapters from the southwest ,South South including Kogi state ,and the APC caretaker committee chairman of Ojodu LCDA Comrade Kayode Ajakaiye and the Apex leader of APC in Ojodu LCDA Chief Mathew Adesanya were also at the event
