The National Convention of our great party, All Progressives Congress came with so much apprehension and concerns for the future of the party. The naysayers thought issues associated with the convention won’t be resolved but unfortunately for them it all turned out good news for us.
I want to firstly appreciate the two leading lights of our great party, President Mahammadu Buhari, the President and Commander-in-Chief of our dear nation and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, National Leader of All Progressives Congress for their prompt and dexterous leadership intervention that saved the party from obviously avoidable crisis.
I also want to thank the founding fathers and Executive Governors from the stable of our party particularly His Excellency, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-olu for their understanding in amicably electing new National Executives Council for the largest political party in Africa.
I want to finally congratulate all the members of the National Executives Council led by Sen. Abdullahi Adamu. I have no doubt in their capacities and capabilities in positively steering the party’s activities as we prepare for the 2023 general elections.
My appeal is that the new National Executives Council of our great party should ensure that there is a level playing field in electing candidates of the party across all the state chapters. This is the most potent ground for unprecedented victory for All Progressives Congress in the 2023 general elections.
Once again, Congratulations to all the members of the just elected National Executives Council led by Sen. Abdullahi Adamu.
